But, recent studies show that for most mamas, their partners are contributing just as much, if not more, to the weight of their mental load. According to a 2017 study published in the journal Sex Rules, dads are on-average allotted more time to relax on their days off, while moms spent a vast amount of their days cleaning the house and tending to their children. Although millennial dads spend three times as much time with their children than dads two generations ago, there is still room to establish a healthy balance between spouses.
