recall of infant ibuprofen

Tris Pharma, Inc. has voluntarily recalled three brands of liquid ibuprofen for infants. The recalled lots of the product have been found to potentially have higher concentrations of ibuprofen. The affected products were sold at Walmart, CVS and Family Dollars nationwide and include 0.5 oz. bottles of:
  • Equate: Infants' Ibuprofen Concentrated Oral Suspension 50 mg per 1.25 mL, 0.5 oz. bottle:(Sold at Walmart with expiration dates of 02/19, 04/19 and 08/19)
  • CVS Health: Infants' Ibuprofen Concentrated Oral Suspension 50 mg per 1.25 mL, 0.5 oz. bottle: (Sold at CVS with expiration date 08/19)
  • Family Wellness: Infants' Ibuprofen Concentrated Oral Suspension 50 mg per 1.25 mL, 0.5 oz. bottle: (Sold at Family Dollar with expiration date 08/19)
